- 50th Anniversary Christingle Service10th Jan 2019This year marks the 50th anniversary of the modern Christingle servcie. The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the service. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle that represent the World, The love of God, the Blood of Christ, All of Gods creations and Jesus being the Light of the World. The service is held in association with The Children’s Society and supports the vital work that they do across the world....

OUR MAIN SUNDAY SERVICES..
8.00am Holy Eucharist
This is a simple said service using Common Worship without hymns, in the Lady Chapel. It finishes about 8.45am.
9.45am Parish Eucharist
This is the main Sunday service (using Common Worship) with a robed choir and hymns; there is usually Junior Church, and always a children's play area. It finishes at about 11.00am, after which you are invited to stay for tea and coffee and a biscuit.
11.45am Baptism service (by arrangement)
6.30pm Evening Service
